How to Reach Day 50 in Dig and Survive
Survivor is extremely rare. Repeat the boring loop: daylight scrap, pawn extras, generator upkeep, night holds, planned revives.
Survivor is the Dig and Survive badge for reaching Day 50. It is extremely rare, and it should be. The game is not a single set-piece. It is fifty daylight shifts and fifty night exams in an isolated mining town where the dead rise and new threats appear the further you go. If your plan is a highlight reel, you will bounce before double digits. If your plan is logistics, you might actually see the counter roll.
This page is that logistics plan. It is not a fake route through named bosses, and it is not a 3000-kill farm. Still Standing (kill 3000 zombies) is a different badge, very rare in its own way, and a terrible Day 50 strategy. Combat volume during the day is how you miss pawn windows. Combat volume at night without kit is how you spend your revive and then spend the run.
If you have not survived night one on purpose, start with Getting Started and how to dig scrap. Day 50 is the same verbs with less room for a cute mistake.
Day is a scrap shift
Every morning is income. Dig scrap, protect bag slots, sell extras at the pawn shop, restock med kits and weapons, and stop while you can still walk home. That paragraph is the whole skill. Repeat it fifty times.
What changes over a long run is discipline, not the verb:
- Short routes beat greedy routes. Distance from town is how bosses and new threats enter. You do not need a farther-out node on a day you are already funded.
- Empty slots are a stat. Bag Boost (+4 slots) is optional; dumping junk is free. A full bag with no med kit is a Day 12 wipe wearing a Day 50 intention.
- Sprint Boost (25% faster during the day) buys extra pawn trips. It does not buy a free night. Use it to finish the shift, not to start a second mine after the cutoff.
- Permanent Drill is legal income help. You still have to be there, still have to pawn, still have to come home. Rank passes on the tools list. Do not replace them with a script.
Starter Cash ($500) is irrelevant by the time Survivor is in play. If you still have it, you spent the early days wrong or you just started. Double Gems does not print Cash. Bigger Lobby adds seats; it does not hold a porch.
Night is the exam
Night is not a farming window. It is the test of whether today’s Cash became kit. Come home early. Close the pawn shop UI. Close Codes. Stand the hold you prepared. If a teammate is still in a hole, you are not “helping” by joining them; you are writing two deaths into the log.
Do not pull a farther-out night fight into spawn. The town is the hold. Expeditions belong to daylight with a funded bag, or they do not belong to this run. Online co-op on 20-player servers means your panic pull is everyone else’s exam too. Best played with friends is not flavor text. A group that can call “we are holding” will outlive a group that can only call “I see scrap.”
If interact, sprint, or bag inputs fail you at dusk, that is a controls problem. Roblox defaults differ by PC, mobile, tablet, and console. Fix the HUD on a quiet morning, not during a wave.
Revive planning is a budget
Free Revive Every Run is one safety net, not a subscription to immortality. Decide before night:
- Who owns the pass.
- Who gets the first save if two people go down.
- Whether a downed player farther from town is worth the walk.
A Day 50 attempt that burns the revive on a daylight selfie next to a threat you were not funded to take is a Day 50 attempt that now has no net. Play as if the pass might already be spent. Cash-bought med kits are the repeatable plan. The pass is the exception.
Premium starter class, Lucky Tickets, and Gems change how a body fights. They do not add extra revives. Read the class overview and class tiers so you spend DigSocial (20 Lucky Tickets) on purpose. Redeem Codes bottom-right, Enter Code, Claim; how to redeem is the click path. Tickets will not carry you to Day 50. They might make nights 10 through 20 less stupid if you already understand the loop.
Do not ignore the generator for fifty days
Yummers is awarded for feeding Cheesy Bread to the generator. It is rare compared with First Steps, and it exists so you will treat the machine as a town job. Scrap greed that pawns the bread every morning is a short-run habit. A fifty-day town needs upkeep. Assign a bread runner. Leave a slot. Feed the machine when bread exists, then go back to mining.
You can theoretically chase Survivor without thinking about Yummers as a trophy. You should not chase Survivor while the generator sits empty because the lobby only knows how to sell. Long runs fail from skipped chores more often than from a single named fight. Quest lines (Helping Hand) and endings (What Comes Next?) sit on the same foundation: a town that still works after many nights. Use the badges list so you do not grind the wrong verb.
What is not the Day 50 plan
- 3000 kills. That is Still Standing. It is a volume badge. It steals daylight you needed for Cash.
- Code hunting. The only confirmed string is DigSocial. There is no pile of secret Cash codes. See the codes hub.
- Scripted AFK. Auto dig and kill aura on a 20-player server is how you get banned and how you fail the exam while your body is in a node. Read the scripts hub warning.
- Unnamed boss tourism. Walk farther only when the bag, the revive, and the group agree. Distance is the slider, not a slot machine.
- Solo hero nights in a mode that is built for friends. You can queue alone. You should not plan Survivor as if 19 other people are scenery.
Join the im diggin it group for listed free rewards. Watch Discord for patches; there is no Trello. After a change to days, nights, or badges, read updates and the September 2026 log before you copy an old video. Official URLs sit on the links hub. Play the official place so the badge can actually track.
A fifty-day rhythm
Morning: bag check, short scrap loop, pawn extras, restock. Midday: optional second loop only if the sky allows; generator bread if you have it. Afternoon: no new distance. Dusk: home, UI closed, positions set. Night: hold, revive on purpose, do not farm. If the night was ugly, the next day is a funding day, not a pride walk farther from town.
Open the run checklist at dusk until the rhythm is muscle memory. Use the players hub and tier list hub when a class door or a pass is the actual question. Day 50 is not a secret mechanic. It is the scrap-and-hold loop refusing to get bored. Stay employed. Pass the exam. Do not cash the town out for a kill count that belongs to a different badge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Dig and Survive on Roblox.
How rare is the Survivor badge in Dig and Survive?
Extremely rare. It is awarded for reaching Day 50. Treat it as a logistics badge, not a lucky drop. Other badge definitions sit on the badges list.
Should I farm 3000 kills to reach Day 50?
No. That is **Still Standing**, a different badge. Kill grinding during the day steals pawn time. Follow how to dig scrap instead.
How do revives work on a long run?
Free Revive Every Run is one safety net per run. Budget it. Med kits from Cash are the repeatable plan. Rank the pass on the tools list.
Does the generator matter for Day 50?
Yes as upkeep, even though Yummers is a separate badge. Assign a bread runner and read the generator guide so scrap greed does not starve the town for weeks.
Can DigSocial or a class skip me to Day 50?
No. **DigSocial** is 20 Lucky Tickets on the codes hub. Classes come from Premium, tickets, or Gems. You still have to pass fifty nights.
Is Day 50 easier with friends?
Yes. The game is online co-op on 20-player servers and is best played with friends. There is no local split-screen. Call holds; do not solo-hero a porch.
